SOGEA is a broadband-only service. No phone service is provided or required. If you are interested in adding phone service, you can add our Hosted VoIP.

Connection speeds can and do vary depending on your distance from the street cabinet and line condition. Use our broadband checker to check availability and get a personalised speed prediction for your property.

Free installation offer waives standard new line install charges which will cover normal installations. If you ask an Openreach engineer to do additional work above and beyond a standard install this may incur Time Related Charges and/or other additional charges from Openreach. These charges are not covered and you will need to pay for these if you incur them.

Minimum contract term of 18 months applies. If you complete checkout you are agreeing to a 18 month contract, and you will be under obligation to pay. Changing your mind after placing an order may result in cancellation fees if we have already started to work on your order.

We strongly recommend using one of our FRITZ!Box routers, as they’re battle-tested and we know that they work well on our network to get the best possible speeds. Not sure which router to pick? If you use our routers, our support team can also provide extended support for your router even as far as helping you with things such as changing your Wi-Fi settings, configuring port forwarding, and more. Please ensure these numbers are available on the day of the engineer visit. If Openreach attempt to ring the numbers on the basis they're unable to locate the premises and are not able to reach the contact listed, Openreach reserve the right to raise an abortive visit fee at a minimum charge of £100 if an engineer visit is required and you are not reachable..
We strongly recommend providing a second phone number in case the first number is busy or unreachable to avoid an abortive visit fee.
If possible, please provide contact details of someone else who will be on-site on the installation day if the primary contact is not available. Providing this will further help reduce the chance of an abortive visit fee.
Please provide any hazard notes the engineer will need to be aware of (if any), such as "Beware of the dog" or "Builders present"
